Jerlorn, an ex-knight, is due to return to Feynia after a year spent in the human realm. However, the King pulls a no-show on the day of Jerlorn's supposed return. Believing himself stranded here in the human realm forever, a more than angsty Jerlorn attempts to mope in peace. However, his short-lived angst session comes to a close when a portal to the dark Daemonikha nearly opens.

The day only gets stranger when he finds out that Ki, a girl who has never stood out to him before, can open magical portals?!

Jerlorn—eager to return to Feynia to impress his princess—and Ki—curious to see if this "Feynia" place harbors answers about the mysterious death of her parents—decide to embark on a journey together to forge a lock that can allegedly stop anything. However, they're not going to get away with it alone. At least, not if Ki's protective friends, Chris and Val, have anything to say about it.

And who is this mage? Why has Phoenix Feather Feynius, arguably the most powerful and elusive being in all of Feynia, taken an interest in them? Is he just bored or is there something more sinister at stake?
