It all started when my brother started reading random megaman sprite comics online. He eventually found the Order of the Stick, which then introduced me to OnlineComics. From there, I started reading a ton of comics during the summer of my eight grade year. (Aah the good old days~) Unfortunately, I no longer keep up with most of them now and some of them died. :'( (Nooo.... SotD </3)

So in freshman year I decided I wanted to make my own webcomic too. My first story was The Phoenix Blade. Basically a LoTR wannabe that was... 5 chapters long. (Hey, I thought it was epic back then, okay? XD)

But after about writing half of the entire script and already drawing the prologue twice, I realized that it sucked and decided to scrap it and start Key instead.

I finally drew the first few pages, made a website and got it online on Feb 7th of 2007. I was in the middle of my sophomore year then.

Key started out as a little 5-volume adventure story. Feynius didn't exist. Jerlorn was the typical anti-social semi-cool dude. Ki was goody-goody two shoes that loved helping people for no reason whatsoever. Chris was stupid and a redhead ...and Valeni, well, hasn't changed too much. ^^; Varian was just evil for the sake of being evil. Nobody had any parents/past either. Ahaha...

Now I'm a high school senior and Key has grown and developed and turned into what it is now. Right now it seems as if it's going to end up being over 2000 pages. (Will I ever finish? >_>;;)

I undertook this endeavor with no knowledge about comicking whatsoever (You mean paneling is a word?! :| And what is storyboarding?) This project has really been a process of learning for me and improving my art and writing.
